Theoretical framework and key Entrepreneurship competences

Introduction

Module 1 introduces the theoretical background of Entrepreneurship. You will learn about key entrepreneurial competences, successful business planning methodologies, and how to implement relevant learning activities. Finally, you will recognise the importance of design and critical thinking skills for entrepreneurship and how to develop them in class.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:

1. identify entrepreneurship and the components of the EntreComp framework;
2. recognise business planning methodologies;
3. describe the role of design and critical thinking for entrepreneurship;
4. apply learning activities to teach business planning and design thinking methodologies.
